“Across all areas of my practice, my mission is to empower clients to reconnect with their inner resources, cultivate self-compassion, and move toward greater balance, healing, and hope. My work is guided by the belief that every person has the capacity for change, and that through a collaborative therapeutic relationship, transformation becomes possible. I am committed to walking alongside each client with respect, curiosity, and empathy.”
Approach to Therapy
I work from an integrative perspective, drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while incorporating some somatic principles and mindfulness to meet each client’s unique needs. I believe that healing involves the whole person—mind and body—and I strive to create a flexible, client-centered process that honors this connection. By weaving these approaches together as well as principles from other evidence-based counseling theories, I aim to support clients in developing effective coping strategies, deepening self-awareness, and creating meaningful, sustainable change.
As a Certified Perinatal Mental Health therapist, I feel deeply honored to walk alongside women and families during this transformative time of life. I provide compassionate care for those experiencing Postpartum Mood and Anxiety Disorders, including peripartum depression, peripartum anxiety, peripartum rage, POCD, peripartum panic disorder, and PPTSD. I also support individuals and families navigating family planning, fertility challenges, pregnancy, families choosing adoption, and pregnancy/infant loss. Non-birthing partners and adoptive/intended families are welcome. In addition, I provide care and guidance for women experiencing perimenopause and menopause, recognizing the physical, emotional, and relational changes that can arise during this season of life.
Beyond perinatal care, I support parents in their journey through the many stages of raising children, offering guidance that strengthens connection and resilience within families. I work with children (ages 5–12), young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, low self-esteem, trauma, anger, life transitions, and relationship/family challenges. My approach is rooted in compassion, empathy, and creating a safe, nurturing environment where clients of all ages feel heard, understood, and supported as they work toward healing, growth, and hope.
